Caddie Services
Like most of the world’s best golf courses, the complexities and subtleties of Barnbougle can take some getting to know. As well as providing distances, a Barnbougle caddie can assist you with your line and to read the greens to ensure you make that round winning putt.
A caddie will make your day more comfortable, your decisions more informed and your round more memorable. Please ensure to book your caddie a minimum of one week in advance to ensure availability, particularly in high season.
Golf Cart Hire
We take great pride in the beauty of the Tasmanian coastline. To help protect our local wilderness and ensure the sand dunes of Barnbougle remain stable, the golf course is a walk course only.
If due to medical reasons you are unable to walk the course, we can arrange an escort to drive you around in a golf cart. There is an additional cost of $110.00 for this service. Escorted carts must be booked one week in advance and a current medical certificate must be supplied to verify your position.
Golf Club Hire
Golf clubs are available for hire at both The Dunes and Lost Farm courses. Club hire is from $35.00 for a standard set and $55.00 for an executive set. Please ensure you reserve clubs with the pro-shop at time of booking and indicate whether you will require left or right handed clubs.
Lessons
Barnbougle offers a range of coaching services across both the Dunes and Lost Farm to suit golfers of all abilities.
All of our services are customised to your individual needs and are conducted by a fully qualified PGA Professional.
Individual, playing and specialised lessons.
Private one on one lessons focus directly on improving your game and Barnbougle experience.
Playing lessons take play during your round and are the perfect opportunity to receive on-course tips and advice from a professional. Book a 9 or 18 hole lesson and our PGA Professional and course expert will accompany you through your round to assist you with specific shots, area’s of difficulty and how to make the most of difficult lies and unsightly ball positions.
Specialist clinics focus on specific areas, in particular the aspects of golf that are unique to Barnbougle, such as how to control the ball in the wind, links golf chip and run, bunker play, etc.
‘If you can’t beat them join them’ Lessons
Designed for the non-golfing partner to introduce them to the joys of golf.
Demonstration Clinics
Designed for the larger corporate group where it’s not practical for the players to participate directly, clinics highlight an aspect of the game that is of particular interest to the group. Your Pro will explain the subject matter while another professional demonstrates the shots being discussed.
Participation Clinics
Participation clinics are best suited to smaller groups. These clinic will enable participates to actively partake in the clinic while the professional supervises their progress.
On Course Coaching
There are a range of group on-course coaching options available at Barnbougle. Our professional can accompany the group throughout the round, moving from team to team advice and taking video to be analysed at the end of the round.

Practice Facilities
Practise facilities including driving range, chipping and putting facilities are located onsite at both courses and available to guests for use. Range balls may also be hired from the pro-shop for a small fee.
