Full Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Barnbougle Great Moments Sweepstakes (“Promotion”) conducted by Barnbougle Golf Pty Ltd (ABN 70 096 711 661) (“the Promoter”).

By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Promoter

(“Barnbougle”, “the Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

2.1 Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.

2.2 Employees, contractors, directors and immediate family members of the Promoter, associated clubs, or any agencies involved in administering this Promotion are not eligible to enter.
2.3 Immediate family includes spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto partner, child or step-child (natural or adopted), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, sibling, step-sibling, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, or first cousin.

3. Promotion Period

The Promotion begins on Friday 21 November, 2025 and ends at 11:59pm (AEDT) on Friday 12 December, 2025
(“Promotion Period”). Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.

4. How to Enter

To enter, participants must complete the following steps during the Promotion Period:
4.1  Base Entry (Required)
Like the official Promotion post on the Barnbougle Instagram or Facebook page.
4.2  Additional Actions (Optional)

  • Participants may complete the following for additional consideration during judging.
  • Tag one or more friends in the comments of the Promotion post.
  • Share their favourite Barnbougle memory or moment on Instagram or Facebook.

4.3  Entry Limits
There is no limit to the number of friends tagged; however, multiple tags do not increase chances of winning. Each participant may only submit one story entry.
4.4  Entry Requirements
Entries that are incomplete, unclear, contain offensive material, or do not comply with these Terms may be deemed invalid.

5. Judging and Winner Selection

5.1  This Promotion is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
5.2  All valid entries will be judged based on the following criteria:

  • Creativity
  • Originality
  • Emotional impact or storytelling quality
  • Relevance to Barnbougle

5.3  Judging will occur within 7 days of the Promotion closing date.
5.4  The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Prize

6.1  Prize Details
The winner will receive:

  • Two (2) night’s accommodation at Lost Farm, for two people.
  • Two (2) rounds of golf for two people one round at Barnbougle Dunes, one round at Lost Farm. Plus a
    complimentary round on the Bougle Run short course.
  • Total prize value: AUD $950

6.2 Prize Conditions

  • Prize is valid for bookings after 31 March,2026.
  • Travel, meals, transport, and all other expenses are not included and are the responsibility of the winner.
  • Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
  • Prize dates are subject to availability.

7. Winner Notification

7.1  The winner will be contacted via direct message on the platform used for entry (Instagram or Facebook).
7.2  If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 7 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an
alternative winner.
7.3  The winner may be announced publicly on Barnbougle’s social media channels and website.

8. Verification

The Promoter reserves the right to request documentation or evidence to verify:

  • Age and identity
  • Validity of the entry
  • Authenticity of the submitted story

9. Use of Entries

9.1  By entering, participants grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, publish, and communicate their submitted story, name, and any accompanying imagery for promotional, marketing, or publicity
purposes.
9.2  No additional compensation will be provided for such use.

10. Disqualification

The Promoter may disqualify entries that:

  • Breach these Terms
  • Are fraudulent, offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate
  • Attempt to manipulate or interfere with the Promotion or judging process

11. Liability

11.1  The Promoter is not responsible for:

  • Late, lost, misdirected or corrupted entries
  • Technical issues affecting submission
  • Any loss, injury, damage, or claim relating to the prize or participation

11.2  Nothing in these Terms excludes liability required by law that cannot be excluded.

12. General

12.1  The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Promotion if necessary due to unforeseen
circumstances.
12.2  These Terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania and Australia.

13. Privacy

Personal information collected during this Promotion will be handled in accordance with the Barnbougle Privacy Policy, available at https://barnbougle.com.au/privacy-policy/
